A quick trip to the Château over the weekend brought some interesting views of the area. With the area already soaked from the seasons snow and rain,  another storm dropped over 3 more inches of rain in 24 hours. The deluge caused the Delaware and Lackawaxen rivers to crest well over flood stage. These pictures were taken a few hours before they crested.  Significant damage to the area occurred especially in the town of Matamoris were most of the town was flooded out.
